Dr. Michael Pilcher has been helping people find
peace, stability, and confidence for over twenty years. He has extensive
training and clinical experience working with a variety of adolescent and adult mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, substance misuse, chronic illness, turbulent personalities, emotional disturbance, and relationship problems. Dr. Pilcher
approaches therapy from a values-based perspective, guiding his patients to
investigate and solidify their core values so that they are empowered to
rebuild their lives by taking the necessary steps to embody these beliefs.
Further, he serves his profession as a member of the
Florida Mental Health Counselors Association government relations committee and newly elected treasurer (2022-2025 term) for the
American Mental Health Counselors Association board of directors.
Dr. Pilcher earned his master of arts
and doctor of philosophy degrees in counseling and subsequently a master
of science degree in psychology. He maintains designations as a
multi-state licensed clinical mental health counselor and addictions counselor.
